Who are chiropodists?

Chiropodists are primary health provider who treat conditions related to patients' feet.

Do we need referral to see a chiropodist?

No, no referrals are required.

What conditions does chiropodists see?

Any conditions related to foot, such as corn callus, foot pain, warts, custom-made orthotics, orthopedic footwear fitting, diabetic foot check, etc.

Do I need to fill in the form before I see a chiropodist?

Yes, On your first visit to our clinic, we will send you an intake form before your visit. IF you don't have an email address, you can drop by 10 mins earlier and fill in on a paper version.

Do you have missing appointment / Late cancellation Policy?

We understand everyone is busy and trying to accommodate your requirement. However, we prefer any changes of an appointment can be informed at least 24 hours ahead. Any late visit can be notified at a reasonable time ahead.

If you miss your appointment, a missed appointment fee will be applied to your account. If you are late, we will try our best to accommodate you after other patients are seen, and if the schedule permits. To avoid missing your appointment, please make sure that we have your current email address on file so that you will receive your appointment reminders in a timely fashion. Please call us (647-394-6008) if you are running late for any reason as this will help us with rescheduling.

Prescription Refills

We are unable to offer phone repeats on any prescriptions due to privacy and confidentiality reasons. Any prescription refills will need to be approved by the ordering practitioner prior to being re-issued.

Does OHIP (ntario Health Insurance Plan) covers our services?

Please note that assessments and treatments by our team are not OHIP insured. However, many of the products and services that we provide are typically covered by third party insurance plans. We recommend that you contact your insurance provider to determine what your plan covers prior to booking your appointment. We provide appropriate information and receipts so that you may submit your claim for reimbursement from your insurance provider.
If your doctor has prescribed for you a specific appliance or device (eg. custom foot orthotics, knee brace, compression socks), please contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment with regard to your coverage.

Product Return Policy

We regret to inform you that our clinic does not offer any refunds for any Custom Made Orthotics, used Compression Stockings, used Custom Braces, Etc.
Product returns have 30 days and must be returned unopened and unused.
